A little about housebreaking

• Watch out for signs that the puppy wants to go when in the house and take the puppy out at once.Go Out with the puppy and giver ewards and praise when puppy will do it outside.

Remember that the shihtzu can be a slow learner at times but perseverance and consistency is the key.Dogs orignated from wolves, they like having a pack leader, so be the leader. Dogs in general love routine and knowing what are expected from them, so lead the way. Good luck

White faces?

(Every Individual shih tzu owner has his own way of  doing this, so this is just a simple tip:)

• White faces, white faces, hmmm this was my question too..wash the face everyday,make sure its dry and use a mixture of boric acid and cornstarh( 1:1) mix and apply to face, you may also use whitening shampoo. I like #1 system whitening shampoo. Make sure you wrap or band the mustache and keep it dry everyday.Do not feed color staining food.
